One of the biggest issues in healthcare is seeing strangers each time you have a need. At Around the Block Healthcare it will be our goal to offer care that is both convenient and with someone you will grow to know and trust. Jane Mehl
Chief Medical OfficerWesterns Governors University- Bachelor of Science in Nursing – Maryville University- Master of Science in nursing is a Family Nurse Practitioner, who is originally from Ukraine. She has fulfilled her dream to become an American. Her previous degree includes a Masters in international business management; however, she felt passion for a career in healthcare. She graduated with her bachelors in nursing in 2018, her masters in nursing in 2021. Her work experience includes positions in the trauma, neuro, and orthopedic unit at the local hospital. Patient focused care coupled with the nursing process are the cornerstones of her practice. She specializes in family practice, urgent care, and with her current focus on patients needing help with their mental health. Currently, Jane is in school for her postmaster’s certificate in psychiatric mental health nursing with a goal to better accommodate her patients’ emotional needs, in addition to their physical health. In her home life she enjoys hanging with her husband, their children, her cat Wasabi. She enjoys hiking (when she has time) her friends, music, reading, and philosophy.
Michael Mehl
Nurse, Health Care ManagerExcelsior College-Associates Degree in Nursing, Excelsior College Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Management. A military brat who grew up in Hawaii, and Washington State. He joined the Air Force at 18 years old, where he served as a medic, and then became a Paramedic. He earned his nursing degree in 2010. Strong backgrounds in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, and Internal Medicine. Brings a huge knowledge base of chronic disease management in serving the patient population. Has managed clinics in his career, and now is enjoying starting a business along with Jane. He is a hobbyist board gamer, and enjoys his family, music, and anime.
